React & Redux have firmly established itself as the go-to choice for modern web development. From Facebook to AirBnB to Slack, React is used in the largest companies as well as among small startups.What We Will BuildIn this hands-on workshop, we will create a simple React app that mimics the Instagram web UI. We will use Node, Express, React and Turbo 360 for deployment (https://studio.turbo360.co). Our app will query the Instagram API for data then render the results in a React front-end hosted on the Turbo 360 serverless architecture. We will: Create a Node/Express server Query the Instagram API Render the data in a React Frontend Deploy to a live hosting environment WhoThis workshop is suitable for those studying full stack JavaScript and looking for an introduction to React/Redux. Though designed for beginners, it is not for complete newcomers to programming. You should have a basic knowledge of JavaScript and rudimentary concepts such as variables, loops and arrays. RequiredPlease bring a laptop (preferably Mac) and make sure you have a text-editor installed: Sublime or Atom should be fine.
