      Kill Paris

      with Freddy Todd, Ryan Farish
Corey Baker, professionally known as Kill Paris, is a multi-instrumental producer from a quiet town in Indiana, USA. Picking up guitar at the age of 15, the musical journey began and soon enough Coreys life was devoted to the art of sound. From there, he took on learning piano, bass and percussion to soon call himself a well-rounded musician. Over the next decade, the Kill Paris project came to fruition naturally - the world of electronic music always sparked something in him. Corey got certified in Ableton Training, where he would teach one on one production lessons and hold seminars while simultaneously working on his artistry. A righteous move to Los Angeles sealed the deal, launching his career in 2012 under Skrillexs wing with label OWSLA officially under the name Kill Paris. And just like that a signature sound was created effortlessly and tastefully done. Now releasing with fan-crazed label Monstercat, the KP project is in full swing, with music flowing and headline tours galore. Coreys unforgettable keytar makes his live performances an extraordinary experience. His sense of humor and genuine attention to his fans coin him as the worlds friendliest DJ, and his objective to bring a sense of well-being and security to the dance music community has made a deep-rooted impact.Kill Paris highly praised sophomore album, Galaxies Within Us, arrived in February 2019 on Monstercat. The 15-track body of work highlights the KP instrumentals we all love, as well as features from artists like Big Gigantic, Jimi Tents, Fatherdude, Tim Moyo, Kuda and the ice man himself, Wim Hof. To create this album, KP moved to a Miami beach house to get in tune and inspiration by nature. Studying plants, spectrums of light, breathing techniques and water structure has become a huge source of creativity and has derived some of his best musical works to date. Using the MIDI Sprout device, Corey has created Galaxies Within Us directly with the help of nature. The device uses probes that connect to the leaves of a plant to pick up their electrical signals. This biodata is then turned to midi notes and ran thru Ableton to alter and source samples. His headlining album tour is set to be less of your standard dance music show and more of an experience. Expect extensive fan interaction and plant listening installations, partnered with MIDI Sprout and V-Moda. The idea is to submerge fans into the world that KP has been living in over the past year, listening to the biodata of provided plants and maybe even yourself.
