See below for important FAQs related to the conferences   The East Coast Organization of Language Testers (ECOLT) and the Consortium on Useful Assessment in Language and Humanities Education (CUALHE) are pleased to host a joint conference at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., this fall. The conference will take place Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th. While the topic matter will be integrated for interest to attendees of both conferences, Friday will include a focus on ECOLT and Saturday a focus on CUALHE. Attendees are encouraged to attend both days. Conference registration for both ECOLT and CUALHE is combined into one ticket.   About Us   ECOLT supports connections between academia, K-12 education, government, and for-profit and not-for-profit testing organizations. In addition to providing a forum for continued learning and networking, ECOLT strongly supports the work of graduate students.   CUALHE aims to share and to enhance useful assessment practices developed by college language and humanities programs and to develop a cadre of scholars who can serve as assessment experts and facilitators. The Consortium fosters a culture of reflective teaching in higher education and supports research into student learning, making useful assessment a regular part of the academic modus operandi. Find more information at the ECOLT 2019 conference website and the CUALHE 2019 conference website.   Conference Registration   Registration is available at a standard price and at a discount for attendees who are currently students.
