      Deployment of Deep Decarbonization Technologies

      Workshop: Deployment of Deep Decarbonization Technologies What technologies do we need to reduce U.S. carbon emissions by 80% in 2050?  The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invite you to attend a workshop exploring the challenges and opportunities for deploying and scaling up technologies involved in U.S. deep decarbonization on July 22-23, 2019 in Washington, DC. Speakers will explore issues for deep decarbonization of the U.S. economy through a focus on several key sectors such as electricity, transportation, food production, and heavy industry. The role of negative emissions technologies also will be considered.
