      Beyond the Basics, Discovering Historical Science Collections at the Library of Congress

      Beyond the Basics provides an overview of the unique science collections at the Library of Congress and how you can find these rare and obscure materials. Each session includes suggestions on how to conduct research on science at the Library; and an overview of useful electronic resources for this topic, including subscription databases. Please meet the instructor in the 5th floor elevator lobby of Adams Building (2nd Street side).  Patrons are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes prior to the orientation. Seating is available on a first-come basis. Please note -- in order to attend these sessions, you must obtain a Reader Identification Card prior to attending. The Library of Congress Reader Registration Card is required.    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
